Great service as everything was taken care of. Well organized was our four Collette trip. We plan one to two trips with Collette a year. One thing I was unhappy with was the Swamp tour. It was raining, windy and the seats on the boat were wet. One squeegee on the boat and there were 44 of us. So needless to say we had to wait our turn. There should have been towels for us to wipe the seat down when they knew they were wet. In my opinion, the tour should have been canceled and substituted for another attraction.

Everyone was wet and freezing. My shoes and paints were soaked. Did not enjoy swamp tour at all and did not see one alligator!!!!!! Great tour and got to go to recording studio and record our own Cd.

That was the highlight of the tour. The person who was our guide was not a good guide. Had no patience with older customers on the tour and decided to humiliate you if front of a whole group of people sitting around you in the Grand Old Opry and treating you like a 2 year old. Gay Hahn Surrey BC. Tour Ok could of had more cooking related as it was a culinary tour. Great tour, our 18th tour with Collette, first class all the way. Fantastic travel experience with Collette!

We had a great family vacation and it was largely due to great coordination and a schedule that was kept on time and professional! Our tour guide, Derek, made this trip fantastic. He was on top of everything and added a lot of humour to each day as well! Superb intiniery with the right amount of time at each stop and in each city! Everything was great and we got to experience Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans in one trip.

Hotels were great, excursions were fun and very different, from the Grand Old Opry to Streamboat ride down the Mississippi, Swamp tour with alligators, Christmas show with Trace Atkins, tour of Graceland, Enjoyed all the country music on Broadway in Nashville and jazz on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

Country Music Hall of Fame was fun, a lot memorabilia. Tours of the 3 cities was interesting. Tour manager Sam was great as well as our driver Angela.

Everything was well planned and we got to see many things and experience many things. We had lots of FUN! Great tours, great tour managers, great company. This is our 4th trip with Collette and we are very pleased. Always the best in lodging eating and entertainment! Loved the Gaylord in Nashville and the cooking school in new orleans. Guide and driver, stops and attractions were all great. Mistake - I rated it 5 star - excellent!!!!! It was excellent leadership, hotels outstanding and itinerary outstanding.

I would use them again. Trip was great but the tour guide was too disorganized and flighty. The communication from start to finish was good. All the info was received at a reasonable time before leaving and easy to understand. We had no problems everything went smoothly. It was a little to munch walking in New Orleans but that cannot be avoided unless there would be smaller vehicles order to take people from the hotel to dinner etc. Not sure that would be feasible. Service was excellent - Very responsive to all inquiries.

Was a great tour but some back up plans should have been in place in case of bad weather. Yes we would recommend the trip to anyone!!! Visiting Graceland was our main reason for booking this tour and it didn't disappoint. We also enjoyed our visits to New Orleans and Nashville. Wesley-travel leader - made the trip fabulous. Driver was excellent and helpful. Itinerary, hotels, food, tour guide and driver.

Le get of trip just right. Very well organized and professional. Will definitely travel with Collette again. Although we initially though the tour was expensive, we found that with breakfast, lunch and or dinner included in the price PLUS all of the attractions it is well worth it. It was wonderful. Wes was a great tour guide. Loved this trip. My major concern, and the reason I did not give them 5 stars is that when we landed in New Orleans, the transfer service from the airport to the Sheraton New Orleans hotel was not up to the normal Collette standards.

It took 90 minutes for us to make what was supposed to be a 30 minute trip. I was very disappointed. With the cost of the tour I would have thought they would supply a more professional transfers service. You could have probably given me a vouchers for a cab service. Poor decision on Collette for keeping a frequent customer happy. I would like to get a response from Collette about this. Thank you for your feedback. A member of the Guest Relations will be reaching out to you.

It was a great tour with wonderful sights. The swamp tour was fun, especially when we could hold the small alligator and watch them feed the larger alligators marshmallows on a stick. I liked that we could take the shuttle to the jazz festival on our own schedule from the hotel. If you wanted to spend more or less time at the festival it was very convenient. We spent a lot of time at the festival but others on the tour did not.

It worked well for everyone and no one was disappointed or frustrated that they couldn't do what they wanted. The only bad part in New Orleans was the walking tour of the French Quarter. The guide was very unpleasant. She thought she knew everything and argued with my husband over a statue that he had questioned her about. She really didn't know the answer but turned out what she had said was incorrect. She also put down the other lady on the tour for not listening when she didn't understand American History because she was from Australia.

The bus tour sounded better and I wish we had taken it. The tour was so packed that it was hard to find time. We finally used them at night after the final jazz festival day. We really enjoyed the New Orleans Cooking School and came home with a few great recipes. The stop at the Picadilly Cafeteria in Jackson, MS brought back memories from when I was a kid visiting my grandparents in Florida and we would eat their often.

The Guest House at Graceland was a very nice hotel. We could have used another day at Graceland with all the new exhibits. We only had time to do the Mansion but I would have loved to see more.

I guess we could have spent more time there but we opted for the optional tour that was also very good. The tour guide at Sun Studios was excellent and he and another guide even performed for us. The dinner at the hotel was OK but really enjoyed the dinner on the optional tour.

The stop at the Belle Meade Plantation was very nice and the lunch they prepared for us was excellent. It really made us feel special the way they treated us. Loved the Opryland Hotel. It was beautiful and I was so glad I took a late flight home on the last day so we could spend the day exploring the hotel.

We enjoyed the dinner at the Opryland Grill and the musical entertainers and waiters. We had great seats at the Ryman Auditorium for the country classics show but it was disappointing that we never got to see the new Oprlyand Theater that I had asked about before booking the tour and was told we would see it.

The tour was jam packed with music and the tour guide suggested locations to hear even more music when we had free time. Our guide enjoyed all types of music and even played "Happy Birthday" on her traveling violin for my husband's birthday on the bus. The coach driver was very nice and competent. Attending the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, eating at all of the famous New Orleans restaurants pre tour and holding a small alligator. This wasted significant time to be at the festival.

They were very efficient and the trip was well planned out and interesting Also the staff was friendly and had answers to our questions. I thought what we received was good value with the exception on one dinner. Yes, I would buy them again. But the groups are getting too big.

They seem to incorporate other traveling groups and they do not mingle. They stick by them selves for the most part. One thing we did not like, the group leader would change how things are planned, making some days overly filled with activities to do and then some days with very little.

If you love music, this is highly recommended. Many museums and places to see in those two cities. Noot so much in New Orleans. Very good service. Collette were superb. They were helpful in every way. Their tour manager Kim was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for her. She helped me with a tricky problem, on my arrival in New Orleans. I would not hesitate to travel with them again, and will recommend them to my friends. Every trip on our tour was skilfully arranged.

My favourite was the visit to the RCA studio B. Well run trip, good selection of sites. Out travel arrangements were not very good.

We were to have a 7 hour stop over at Newark airport, this turned into a 10 hour stop over. We were absolutely exhausted. Then we had a few hours sleep before we had to go for breakfast before the tour managers meeting. At the end of the meeting she made no attempt to try and find who we were and ask if we were alright.

My husband and I went and introduced ourselves and explained how awful our journey had been, it was obvious that she had no interest in what had happened. Also when we arrived at New Orleans airport, we were waiting at the carousel for our luggage, which did not arrive.

I was about to go and look for someone to say that our luggage had not arrived. However, as I turned round to check that there was no one about I noticed some luggage that had been put to one side.

This indicates that our luggage was put on a different flight. There was no one around that we could speak to about it. We were so tired and angry we just wanted to get to the hotel for some rest. Although my husband and I enjoyed the tour we felt it could have been better if had been a few days longer. An extra day in Memphis and Nashville.

I know that involves costs but would have been worth it. The downside for us was the tour manager, she was too full of her own importance and she had her favourites. On our first night in New Orleans when we went to dinner, my husband and I were on our own she made no attempt to find us seats with others in the group. Quite a few of the other tour members came up and said that they were sorry that they didn't realise that we were sitting on our own some said that there had been room at their tables.

Samantha made no attempt to look. Samantha also did not do her homework regarding public transport in Memphis and Nashville. My husband and I were walking around the hotel in Nashville just to get our bearings and I found a leaflet at the registration in the Cascades lobby. It is a Resort Guide covering the dates from March 16 - It gives information about the shuttle services to the shopping mall to and from downtown and the airport.

Surely we should have been given one of those on arrival. I know these comments are very negative but this was due to Samantha. My husband and I were not the only ones not happy with her there were a quite a few others. I have to say that Alvin the driver was absolutely wonderful. I have arthritis in my knees and good and he could not have been more helpful at getting me on and off the bus. He is definitely an asset to the company. Overall tour was excellent.

Sun studios, Rca studios. Graceland would have been better with more time. I thought overall it was a great trip!!! If you want to step back in time to the Elvis days, this is your trip. I think hotels should have ben better located. Example: Peabody Hotel in Memphis. The choices for the hotels was excellent.

The location of the hotels were convenient for the free times that were scheduled. The bus driver was excellent. She was very helpful to the older folks on the trip, especially helping them to safely leave the bus. Great choice of cities. Great mix of music, culture and cuisine. Just enough down time. We were busy with interesting and exciting excursions and activities much of the time, yet we also had a bit of down time to digest the experiences. Our tour manager, Molly Cashen, was absolutely the best.

She was a friendly, knowledgeable, considerate, and energetic leader of our group of 40 wonderful folks. My wife and I wouldn't hesitate to take other Collette tours in the future. The tour was jammed packed with wonderful stops, museums, recording studios, city environs and culture. We also walked away with a fine appreciation of the birth and development of the three major musical genres: the Blues, Jazz, and Country.

Collette tours are always put together well, with knowledgeable guides and interesting things to see and do. A person can enjoy themselves and not have to think about where to go and what to see. My favorite part was the French Quarter in New Orleans, the food, the music, just being a part of it all.

Tours were great except for the city bus tour in New Orleans. The city guide was terrible. The hotels Carey's in the room were dirty and the room cleaning service not great. Bed time was grand ole opery and Graceland as well the recording studios were great. The hotels were not the best. Carpets dirty and old.

Over all good was good but could have been better. Best tours we're grand ole opery, recording studios and Graceland. Efficient; good choice of hotels, restaurants. We had a awsome bus driver. Our tour guide was also very good. Overall the experience was positive, but it was a rocky start. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no information regarding a Collette tour. There was no meet and greet on Sat. My companion called Providence to see what was going on. There should have been some info upon arrival.

It is my first tour that there was not some kind of greeting on the day of arrival.. A lot was covered in 8 days. I think it would have been better to do 10days or skip New Orleans. It was an 8 hour ride from N. I do enjoy the trip and Molly worked hard to provide information. They shared great information about the cities, obtained tickets for us, ie.

Grand old oprey , so we did not have to wait on lines and were always available to help. We thoroughly enjoyed being exposed to good music, appreciated the historical value of each, participated in all. Gained appreciation for beautiful city of Nashville. Kim was very attentive, informative and amusing. All the arrangements worked perfectly despite a few hiccoughs which were outside her control.
