Biggest lie ever. I was at my job site when i was contacted and everything sounded pretty good. So i handed over to my wife to complete the registration with YP. First, They never told me it was a one year contract.

My wife was the one that called me after the registration was done saying that Albert Olivas the sales rep told her it was a one year commitment.

That was the first time i got upset at YP. So we called again and we were promised that they would take us out of the 1 year contract and put us on a 6 month contract so we could try them out. Another lie, we were never put on a 6 month contract Well, i let it slide and started doing business with them, they needed me to be recorded as well and we did.

Finally it appeared and i was credited for that month. Months went by and i would not get ANY business calls. So i called back and what i got was a large bill!!! I was surprised… i talked to them for countless hours about getting this situated. I literally have opened like 6 claims, i am just exhausted.

So he helped us for the inconvenience and promised that he would do everything in his power to do something about this. It was then when we decided to just get out of doing business with YP. They send us a survey and we marked it totally dissatisfied.

So a lady called to ask why were we dissatisfied. We asked for it to terminate our contract and she said she was going to talk to the people necessary to do this but she would take care of it.

Another big lie apparently since we are still getting billed. It has been months and we still get harassed by YP to collect payment and give me the run around about my problem. I am currently literally talking to YP right now for about 3 hrs just to get transfered around in their own department. I would not recommend YP to anyone!!! Paul D. I had a contract with them last year and the salesperson told me they would let me out of the contract if I did not receive at least 8 calls per month. There was a 4 month period where we only received 1 — 2 calls per month. During this time, I made repeated phones calls to try to see why my Ad was not performing. They offered me nothing. I asked to get out of my contract per my salesperson promise to me. They said he no longer worked there and that they would not honor that.

YP is a horrible company that does not get the results they promise. Take my advise and stay away. I did this and the results are amazing.

When we declined to work with them they told us our company would certainly go out of business. After that, the GM in the area promised us they would leave us alone and we would be put on their do not call list.

Another big NOT! Not only do they come in and call and harass us at least every 6 weeks, but when we ask them not to call and politely explain the situation, they laugh and today the girl not only laughed but made condescending comments.

I literally HATE this company — there are a billion other companies doing the same thing and better, steer clear of their overpriced business model and their rude employees. First, let it be known is the largest private company in the U. This company is evil, greedy and unethical. Just read all of the reviews on Unilocal. They enjoy frustrating and playing games with their customers. Main points of this complaint: 1. They had led me to believe it was just a one year contract. After many phone calls they were supposed to terminate my account on May 13 th and remove my ad while prorating the final bill.

They did not do this and ignored their own notes in my open case note file doing nothing with them. Today I received a bill for the full amount and the ad is still up. Today I was about to get a price adjustment and the rep lied and kept me holding a long time only to hung up on me after I waited 15 minutes. Today, nearly two months after the confirmation of the opt out cancellation by the account rep, a customer service person questioned if the opt out was genuine from out of the blue.

After he confirmed with the rep the opt out was valid, he continued to give me a hard time turning my case over to their claims department to get them to remove my business profile prior to his prorated adjustment to the account. They want it up there so they can continue to charge you. They operate like parasites. They do nothing with the case notes until you call again.

Ben F. Do not ever consider using internet or mobile advertising. YP has poor customer service and so far has refused to let me out of a contract when they have produced zero results.
