Inline skating burns a whopping calories for every 30 minutes of skating and the most enjoyable thing is actually having fun while burning those calories. Many with knee and joint problems find inline skating to be a much easier and safer exercise than jogging or running as inline skating puts less pressure and pain on the knees and joints. A full set of inline skate pads includes wrist, elbow and knee pads. These pads are important and are not overly expensive.

Over the years skate pads have become much more comfortable and now offer sweat wicking properties to keep you dry while skating. Inline skate helmets are required at a lot of parks and places to skate and should be worn at all times when inline skating.
