Ufp new london llc

Pros Had insurance. Cons Raises sucked if you got one. Share your experience Let job seekers know what it's like to work at your company.

Friendly people willing to help to learn and understand in every aspect of the job co worker would ask if you needed help just because.

Friendly people. Working their was good I love it the people was nice the supervisors was nice plant manager who's nice everybody was cool people it was like a family but I did hate cleaning up LOL but I'm going to miss it farewell friends and family y'all took good care of me we all treated each other like sisters and brothers I wish I had more time to speak but it is what it is you got to do what you got to do later.

This is the worst job i have ever had. The management was horrible, they go against there own policy to get someone out of the job. The employees are hired without green cards and none speaks English, I think there are illegals working here it should be looked into. Fast paced, productive environment. The company usually has plenty of work, good hours, without a lot of micromanaging provided you know how to do your job. They are not as family friendly as they would imply at least at the location I worked.

The area manager at this location was very kind and a great person to work for, along with a few of the building leads. The rest of management was unfriendly and didn't care whether or not you succeeded. The maintenance department was great as well and worked tireless hours to make sure machines at the facility were working to the best of their ability. Pros Money put back into the employees with company events, good hours. Cons Not family friendly, "who you know" mentality with some management.

My day started at 5am and didn't end until pm stacking trusses all day long in verius types of weather. Got paid 10 dollars a hour for 48 hours a week and some over time on Saturday and sundays.

Everyone was very easy to get a long with the management was very helpful and there was always someone there to help and we all worked like a team to make work easier on one another. I like the early morning runs and loading trucks nightly. The work schedule Monday thru Friday is great and I enjoy my freedom and job most days.

There benefits are not great. It was a very fast paced environment. With alot of opportunities to move up and develop within the company.

The work wasn't hard, and you'd get plenty exercise during the days. Productive and always working if ran out of work always found work to do, enjoyed working with my coworkers, my day would start at 6 am- 3 pm, would way boards clean breakdown, restrooms, take trash out, hello on saw when needed. UFP is a great place to work at,The boss is nice and very respectful,If you need help he will help you out the best he can. We work Monday-Friday,We don't really work on Saturdays unless we behind but we really don't get behind,If we finish our schedule early we can leave and get paid for the time we supposed to get off.

Pros They cook out for us sometimes. Cons Our breaks are good. Great place to work! While this position was only temporary, the time spent here was spent well. The compensation was lower than expected, but the work environment made up for that. Miss the work miss the people. Fun enviornment a lot of machines to get certified on saftey videos thurough training.

They have a really good health benefits plan. Management treats as a number. High School mentality, people talk around everyone. Was threatened by another employee. Nothing was done. No ethics. Pros None. Cons No company ethics, Management lacks intelligence, management plays favoritism.

Management made racial comments. Management-Employee communication is often an issue, but management has improved since a change of production manager happened. We get paid biweekly every other friday , have a healthy benefits package and normally have access to overtime. Plant Manager has done right by me so far, but haven't heard anything good about him from my co-workers. Splinters and ribbing are a constant. Pros Career Advancement, Overtime.

Cons Management-Employee communication. General Laborer. Assembler I. Pallet and Crate Builder. General Labor. Don't expect anything other than a place to work. The pay isn't good, the managers see you as just another number, and they want you to work almost every day if they can. The one thing that is good at this company is the benefits.

Pros Benefits. Cons Just about everything else. All its a racial pecking order. Pros overtime and pay. Cons needs new equiptment. Great people; Enjoyable environment! Nice blend of office, plant, and field time. Pros Flexibility. They gave me a good start to my CDL A. Unfortunately they couldn't fulfill the plan that was presented to me.

Operations manager is a nice lady. My group leader is moody. The pay is fair and not much O. Pros Truck driver freedoms. Cons Not much O. Management through cameras and do not get parts you need.

Operators do not have to clean their machines. A lot of machines are not fixed properly. Bonuses are great. Pros Bonuses. Cons Switch schedules too much. Great environment but long long physically demanding shifts. Management is almost never there for anything but 1st shift.

Other than that its easy to learn for beginners and the crew of people are you work beside are fun and friendly. Pros Ot, benefits. Cons Poor management, long shifts. Indeed Home. Find jobs. What people like. Areas for improvement. Yes No. Indeed Featured review The most useful review selected by Indeed. I liked it. But the long night hours were a little rough. By the way I understand, the benefits are very good after a person gets hired on.

They treat their workers very well.!! Was this review helpful? Report Share. Managers did not seem to care about employees. Unprofessional management behavior and unsafe vehicles are why I left. Think twice before applying, lots of other companies in Denver are paying much more! Safety protocols leave much to be desired - slip seat driving in time of COVID without proper cleaning of vehicles. The company does not seem to care about its customers or its employees. Amazing company that is like Family!

Great opportunities for advancement, I was promoted within 6 months. The best company I have ever worked for with a fantastic bonus programs like profit sharing, referral bonus and a great production bonus. Large focus on safety and employee development! Pros Bonus programs and family atmosphere. Cons Na. It got me in great shape. Lots of lifting. Lots of planning ahead with schematics, and it was a team effort.
